Junior Certification Engineer, Structures & Stress

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Preparation of certification documentation

• Planning and managing certification tests (static tests)

• Engaging in communication with customers and suppliers

• Conducting static calculations (both hand calculations and FEM)

• Providing advice to the development department on design optimization

• Taking primary responsibility for the certification aspects of projects

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical/aviation studies (Aviatiker), or a comparable qualification

• A strong focus on quality with a team-oriented and solution-driven work style

• Proficient in German and English, both written and verbal

• Preferred: experience as a calculation/structural analysis engineer

• Background in the aviation sector, especially knowledge of aircraft cabin interior outfitting
