This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist commercial leadership by managing purchase orders, product replenishment, vendor interactions, and order tracking.
• Ensure retail menus and e-commerce product listings are accurate, covering aspects such as pricing, discounts, descriptions, images, strain information, potency details, and availability.
• Aid in the setup and execution of promotions, including discounts, menu updates, product tagging, promotional calendars, and communications with the Retail team.
• Receive and verify deliveries, ensuring products, quantities, documentation, invoices, manifests, and system entries are accurate and compliant.
• Address discrepancies with the Inventory and Retail teams concerning received goods, availability, pricing, and menu visibility.
• Monitor inventory levels, sales velocity, and product performance to facilitate replenishment and identify risks of stockouts or overstock.
• Compile recurring reports on sales, inventory, promotions, receiving activities, menu accuracy, and vendor performance.
• Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, delivery documents, vendor programs, promotional approvals, pricing updates, and metrics for product performance.
• Follow up with vendors regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, substitutions, pricing inquiries, and missing documentation.
• Support Buying and Commercial Operations leadership with analysis, reporting, and various administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Accounting, Distribution, and vendors.
• Ensure that product, pricing, promotional, and receiving activities comply with internal controls, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in menu maintenance, receiving workflows, promotional communications, and reporting accuracy.
• Travel up to 25% within Massachusetts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred 1–2 years of experience in retail, purchasing, inventory, merchandising, receiving, data entry, or administrative support.
• Experience in the cannabis, consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or regulated industries is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail is essential for ensuring accurate information regarding products, pricing, promotions, receiving, and reporting.
• Comfort with inventory management, point-of-sale systems, e-commerce platforms, purchasing systems, and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with cannabis industry software is a plus.
• Experience with reporting tools like Power BI is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational, communication, follow-up, and time-management skills are necessary.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% within Massachusetts.
