Junior Amazon Connect Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute release planning, development, testing, and deployment of IVR enhancements across various agencies.

• Create call flow designs and integrate with backend systems utilizing application program interfaces (API).

• Manage NICE BU while contributing to solution design and optimization of network solutions.

• Develop routing design and implementation strategies for contact center technology.

• Collaborate with the Architecture team to design, build, and deploy APIs, as well as utilize existing APIs.

• Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance for customers and internal teams during scripting issues.

• Facilitate communication and resolution of issues with multiple technical teams when problems occur.

• Examine support tickets with agency leadership and supervise any support inquiries from other team members handling those agencies’ tickets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in designing and constructing Amazon Connect contact flows with DynamoDB, Lambda, and Lex Bots.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Amazon Connect, including portal widget integration, CRM integration, chatbot development, as well as email and SMS solutions.

• Extensive experience in designing call routing (routing profiles, queues, callbacks, emergency messaging, and dynamic business hours/holiday routing).

• Expertise in constructing AWS Lambda-based custom logic to enhance contact center operations.

• Proficient in Python, Node.js, or Java with AWS Lambda API integration.

• Familiar with version control systems (GIT, GitHub, TFS).

• Background in CI/CD tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or GoCD.

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
