Junior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Assist the Accounting Manager with daily accounting tasks.

• Oversee accounts payable operations, manage vendor invoices, and handle payment processes via Bill.com.

• Process A/P invoices, schedule payments, and coordinate vendor disbursements.

• Maintain vendor documentation and precise payment records.

• Manage accounts receivable aging and follow up on customer payments.

• Provide support for collections to ensure prompt payment from customers.

• Aid in month-end closing activities and ongoing accounting procedures.

• Assist with account reconciliations, including cash, prepaid expenses, and accruals.

• Prepare reconciliation schedules and necessary financial documentation.

• Review distributor deductions, shortages, and manage dispute resolutions.

• Handle trade deduction reviews, reconciliations, and track statuses.

• Assist with audit inquiries and prepare supporting schedules as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in supporting accounting operations, bookkeeping, and functions related to accounts payable or receivable.

• Familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite.

• Preference for experience with Bill.com or similar payment processing systems.

• Background in supporting reconciliations, invoicing, and managing financial records.

• Strong grasp of bookkeeping and transactional accounting practices.

• Capability to accurately and efficiently manage accounts payable and receivable workflows.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and reconciliation skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple financial processes and meet deadlines concurrently.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable managing distributor deductions, discrepancies, and follow-ups on payments.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of daily accounting responsibilities.
