Junior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Prepare, clean, and record daily journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments.

• Ensure the general ledger is accurately maintained, updated, and correct.

• Conduct bank reconciliations.

• Assist FP&A with detailed inquiries related to financial statements.

• Draft and send invoices to clients and/or create bills received from vendors.

• Consolidate and distribute documents (invoices/payment proof/bank statements).

• Support the integration of systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.

• Address client inquiries promptly and professionally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy with experience in US GAAP; CPA qualification is a plus.

• 2–3 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in external/internal audit or an accounting firm.

• 2–3 years of experience with Amazon Seller Central; familiarity with Sponsored Ads, DSP, Payee Central, and Vendor Central is advantageous; knowledge of Walmart, Target, ShipStation, TrueOps, and SPN is a bonus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and the full Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suites.

• Experienced with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho.

• Capable of reconciling external documentation with company records and resolving discrepancies.

• Able to make adjustments including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.

• Experienced in intercompany reconciliation.

• Proficient in reading and understanding financial statements — P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.

• Capable of analyzing and comprehending legal agreements with clients or vendors.
