This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Efficiently process customer invoices, vendor bills, and credit card transactions utilizing Salesforce, QuickBooks Online, and various financial tools.
• Conduct general accounting tasks such as account maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations of financial records.
• Monitor project-related expenditures (labor, materials, overhead) while keeping well-organized, audit-ready documentation.
• Manage, reconcile, and carry out accounts payable/receivable functions and general ledger activities, including intercompany balance reconciliation.
• Aid in the month-end and year-end closing processes and reporting tasks.
• Organize disbursements to vendors and meticulously record payments received from customers.
• Provide support to the Finance Manager with ad hoc reporting, analyses, and special projects as necessary.
• Identify and suggest process enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy within the accounting workflow.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 2 years of accounting experience within a corporate setting.
• A solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• Proficient in Salesforce for data management and reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online.
• Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Strong critical thinking skills to identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Ability to meet deadlines while upholding quality standards and effective time management.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Comfortable using Mac/iOS systems.
• Must be a United States Citizen and able to work from the United States.
