JS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Engage in Product Development by creating and refining digital products for startups and established brands, often managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Develop web and mobile applications utilizing TypeScript, React, Next.js, React Native, and Node.js.

• Design and deploy APIs along with serverless infrastructure.

• Construct scalable user interfaces linked to headless CMS and prototype AI functionalities (LLMs, agents, RAG) as project requirements dictate.

• Focus on Craft & Quality by implementing UIs from the ground up, paying meticulous attention to detail across various screen sizes.

• Review, revise, and test AI-generated code prior to deployment - this responsibility lies with you, not the AI.

• Write and uphold tests that genuinely enhance value.

• Proactively document technical decisions.

• Engage in code reviews, serving as both reviewer and contributor.

• In Collaboration & Ownership, transform vague client briefs into actionable specifications that you and your tools can execute.

• Collaborate closely with PMs, designers, and fellow developers under strict deadlines.

• Mentor less experienced developers, especially in applying AI with discernment.

• Assert your technical insights during the design process when you have a superior idea.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to convert a brief or a Figma design into a clear execution plan, posing the right questions before commencing code writing.

• Proficient use of AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) integrated into your daily workflow.

• You possess clear opinions on effective solutions and those that fall short.

• The ability to review and validate code (your own or AI-generated) prior to its production release.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js, with substantial experience delivering in at least two distinct codebases.

• Quick adaptability to unfamiliar repositories to achieve productivity swiftly.

• Intermediate proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and switching contexts between different clients.

• Nice to have: Experience with React Native in production applications.

• Nice to have: Experience with integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI), RAG, MCP, or agents into real products rather than just demos.

• Nice to have: Previous experience working at an agency or consultancy.

• Nice to have: Experience with headless CMS integrations (Contentful, Sanity, Prismic, or similar).

• Nice to have: A keen eye for UI, accessibility (a11y), and performance considerations.

• Nice to have: Experience with Canvas, Three.js, or WebGL.

• Nice to have: Contributions to open-source projects or notable personal projects that we can review.
