Journalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of our publication, developing a high-production-value owned publication on a monthly or quarterly basis.

• Transform proprietary parking data into a recurring quarterly report, utilizing AI for analysis and production.

• Seek out and interview intriguing individuals within the industry, conducting insightful conversations.

• Compile data findings and narratives into pitches for journalists, fostering relationships and ensuring pitches are engaging.

• Generate content from interviews and data for social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.

• Craft SEO and GEO-focused content based on original data and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-8+ years of experience preferred in journalism, editorial work, or research.

• Comfortable working with datasets; able to assess data relevance.

• Strong interviewing skills: prepares, listens, and asks thoughtful follow-up questions.

• Ability to write clear and direct prose across various formats.

• Familiarity with AI tools and eagerness to develop workflows incorporating them.

• Commercially driven; understands that content fuels brand awareness and demand.

• A resourceful mindset and readiness to establish processes from the ground up.

• Nice to have: experience in commercial real estate, proptech, mobility, urban studies, or business/finance; experience with earned media; experience in audience growth on social platforms; understanding of SEO fundamentals.
