This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the operations of several Joint Use design teams.
• Lead and guide the team in engineering, design, and construction activities.
• Manage the Utility Services Department teams through their engineering and construction obligations.
• Ensure department teams maintain a consistent approach to safety, engineering design, and project execution.
• Create customer proposals that include detailed technical scopes and resource management strategies.
• Frequently engage with clients or contractors.
• Provide orientation, training, mentorship, and coaching for personnel.
• Conduct performance assessments for team members within the department.
• Promote a culture of safety throughout the department.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Over 10 years of relevant experience, specifically with an electric utility or in an electric utility consulting firm.
• Proven supervisory abilities and significant project management experience.
• More than 7 years of experience in leading multiple teams.
• Skilled in negotiating and building relationships with existing and prospective clients or contractors.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and understanding of client construction standards.
• The ideal candidate will possess outstanding analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
• Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with insurance.
