JavaScript Developer, PixiJS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• - **Engineering & Maintenance:** Enhance and support existing game titles developed with PixiJS, ensuring optimal performance.

• - **Hands History Development:** Engage in complex logic to visually reconstruct gaming sessions and player histories.

• - **Core Library Evolution:** Collaborate on advancing our internal game framework, enhancing its architecture and scalability.

• - **Performance Tuning:** Debug and optimize rendering performance across various desktop and mobile browsers.

• - **Quality & Standards:** Contribute to the creation of clean, maintainable code and assist in enhancing internal development tools and pipelines.

• - **Collaboration:** Partner closely with QA, artists, and fellow developers to address live issues and deliver stable updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• - **Experience:** A minimum of 2 years of commercial experience in Frontend / JavaScript development.

• - **Graphics:** Proficiency in **PixiJS** (or Phaser.js) is essential.

• - **Tools:** Familiarity with **Git** and **Jenkins** (CI/CD) is required.

• - **Asset Management:** Experience with texture generation tools or **texture atlases** is beneficial.

• - **Math:** A strong understanding of 2D geometry and coordinate systems.

• - **English:** Proficiency at B1 level or above.

• Native **Ukrainian** (both spoken and written);

• **Will be a plus**

• - Previous experience in **Game Development;**

• - Familiarity with **Spine animations.**
