This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

• Design, create, improve, and sustain full stack applications that facilitate mortgage and lending workflows (e.g., LOS, POS, servicing systems).

• Evaluate business needs and convert them into technical solutions.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for loan processing, underwriting, pricing, and document management.

• Create modern, responsive user interfaces to enhance experiences for borrowers and internal users.

• Write unit, integration, and component tests; enhance REST coverage and reliability.

• Work with both structured and unstructured financial data, including loan files, documents, and blockchain-based assets (where applicable).

• Enhance performance and scalability for high-volume transaction processing.

• Engage in architecture discussions focused on cloud-native and API-first platforms.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to facilitate swift and reliable deployments.

• Resolve production issues while ensuring system reliability and uptime.

• Take part in technical design discussions and conduct code reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3–7+ years of experience in full stack software development.

• Strong expertise in Java (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar frameworks).

• Experience in constructing API-driven, microservices-based systems (REST/SOAP).

• Frontend expertise with React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL.

• Knowledge of secure application development and data protection best practices.

• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
