Java Technical Lead – Back-End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical design and execution of backend systems and their integrations;

• Define and enhance the architecture for solutions based on microservices;

• Serve as the primary technical liaison for business stakeholders and external partners;

• Coordinate and guide development teams to ensure adherence to best practices;

• Oversee the configuration, stabilization, and transition to the new ERP system;

• Design and implement integration patterns between systems (event-driven, APIs, messaging);

• Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and scalability;

• Engage in technical discussions, estimations, and solution design;

• Assist with production deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement;

• Foster a DevOps culture, promoting automation and best practices throughout the team;

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in a Technical Lead or Senior Backend Engineer role

• Extensive experience with Java (8+) and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Core, etc.)

• Strong background in designing and implementing microservices architectures

• In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD/OOP)

• Familiarity or experience with the .NET ecosystem

• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers

• Practical experience with Azure Service Bus or similar messaging platforms

• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Significant experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT)

• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases

• Experience in Agile environments and with cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with business stakeholders.
