This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Offer technical guidance to development teams, ensuring excellence in software design and implementation.

• Mentor junior engineers and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and technical proficiency.

• Design, develop, and document scalable and maintainable software solutions.

• Prepare and review technical analyses, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business needs.

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Partner with project managers on planning, execution, and delivery milestones.

• Ensure software quality through adherence to coding standards, code reviews, and thorough testing practices.

• Assist with the onboarding and integration of mediador developers into the team as the project progresses.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of professional experience in Java development (Java 8+).

• Strong expertise in Spring, Hibernate, and SQL (DB2/Postgres).

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture and design patterns, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Hexagonal Architecture.

• Practical experience with distributed systems and messaging platforms (Kafka).

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Azure cloud services.

• Familiarity with Vaadin (with ongoing migration to React).

• Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent analytical skills, proactive approach, and a strong sense of ownership.

• Capable of effectively sharing knowledge and eager to learn new technologies.
