Java Spring Boot Werkstudent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Support the development team in the creation and maintenance of client projects

• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and architects

• Develop robust and scalable backend solutions using modern Java frameworks

⛳️ Requirements

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field

• Basic knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming

• Initial experiences with Spring Boot or a similar framework (through studies, internships, or personal projects)

• Understanding of fundamental concepts such as Dependency Injection and Design Patterns

• Interest in database design and SQL (MySQL, MariaDB)

• Basic understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs

• Team player with a willingness to learn

• Availability of approximately 20 hours per week

• Desirable qualifications

• Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito)

• Knowledge of Git and version control

• Interest in agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM)

• Understanding of web security principles

• Knowledge of Docker or other container technologies

• Personal projects or contributions to open-source projects
