Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications based on Java technology.

• Create clean, maintainable, and testable code by adhering to industry best practices.

• Engage in code reviews to uphold and enhance code quality.

• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing software applications.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of software development methodologies.

• Keep current with the latest advancements in Java technologies and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development using Java.

• Proven experience in building distributed systems and managing high-throughput backend services.

• Comprehensive understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL systems.

• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or EventBridge is advantageous.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, including BuildKite.

• Knowledge of AWS services.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
