This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• We are seeking a Back-end Java/AWS developer to engage in strategic initiatives within the banking industry, focusing on the design and enhancement of robust, scalable, and highly available solutions in both cloud and distributed settings. This role necessitates a hands-on, collaborative, and consultative individual who thrives in agile teams and actively contributes to technical advancements, architectural development, and knowledge sharing.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining back-end applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot.
• You will build and sustain microservices architectures as well as monolithic applications.
• The role involves developing and consuming REST APIs.
• You will contribute to the design and evolution of solutions within the public AWS cloud and private OpenShift cloud environments.
• Implementing asynchronous integrations through messaging with Kafka and SQS will be required.
• You will develop process-driven solutions using Camunda BPMN.
• Responsibilities include creating and maintaining unit and coverage tests using JUnit, Mockito, and JaCoCo.
• Apply Design Patterns, development best practices, and architectural principles as part of your work.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and environment configuration.
• Propose continuous improvements aimed at enhancing performance, scalability, stability, and overall system efficiency.
• Share technical expertise with team members to foster a collaborative atmosphere and promote continuous learning.
• Strong experience in Java development on mission-critical projects involving high data volumes, ideally within the banking sector.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience in REST API development.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with monolithic applications.
• Proficient in MySQL database management.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka.
• Expertise in unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, and JaCoCo coverage tools.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Application of Design Patterns and development best practices is essential.
• Experience with AWS services including SQS, S3, EC2, and Lambda, along with experience in working with Kafka.
