This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a member of the development team, taking charge of tasks assigned for each Sprint.
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Create solutions that prioritize quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Oversee your own deliverables, effectively communicating any risks, obstacles, or possible delays to the team.
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams that are guided by agile methodologies.
• Possess experience in developing financial systems.
• Have a strong understanding of Java (Java 8+), Spring, and Quarkus.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs is essential.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL is required.
• Proficiency with Git, continuous integration, and DevOps practices is expected.
• Experience in agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP is necessary.
• Understanding of automated testing (JUnit) is beneficial.
• Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is important.
• Knowledge of messaging and system integration is advantageous.
• Previous experience with application servers like JBoss, WebSphere, or Liberty is preferred.
• Familiarity with modernization and refactoring of legacy applications is desired.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Maven is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other IT-related fields; or a Bachelor's degree in any field combined with a postgraduate specialization in Information Technology.
• Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher).
