Java Developer – API

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance banking APIs for mobile applications as well as internal and external services.

• Develop scalable backend solutions utilizing Kotlin and contemporary JVM technologies (Ktor, jOOQ, coroutines, Arrow).

• Design and refine public APIs, internal SDKs, and shared platform components.

• Execute high-performance integrations with partners and third-party systems.

• Contribute to the architecture, scalability, and reliability of core banking and partner platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience within the JVM ecosystem, with a strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java.

• Profound understanding of concurrency and asynchronous programming concepts.

• Experience in designing systems using clean architectures (DDD, event-driven methodologies).

• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and their associated trade-offs.

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, ideally in an AWS environment.

• A strong sense of ownership, commitment to continuous learning, and a desire to share knowledge with the team.
