Java Developer Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Become a vital member of the development team, engaging in development tasks throughout each Sprint.

• Execute software development activities in a multidisciplinary manner, emphasizing product quality and maintainability, which includes requirements gathering, analysis and design, programming, configuration management, testing, and deployment.

• Take charge of your own workload, promptly informing the team of any delays or obstacles encountered.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education requirement: Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or any Information Technology-related field; or a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a postgraduate specialization in Information Technology.

• Familiarity with Financial Systems development.

• Understanding of agile software development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Knowledge of continuous integration, delivery, and DevOps methodologies.

• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services (ADS).

• Proficient in Configuration and Change Management, utilizing tools like ClearCase, SVN, and Git.

• Ability to analyze and specify functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.

• Knowledge of design patterns and programming best practices.

• Experience in Enterprise Systems Integration.

• Skills in architecture and development of microservices, including tracing, APIs, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.

• Proficiency in development with Docker containers and Kubernetes.

• Experience in migrating monolithic systems to microservices.

• Expertise in relational data modeling.

• Familiarity with layered application architecture and the MVC model.

• Competence in creating responsive interfaces.

• Expertise in system integration using Messaging, JMS, Web Services, Service Bus (WebSphere Message Broker), REST, SOA, and EJB 3.

• Knowledge of design patterns, including enterprise integration patterns, design patterns, SOA, and microservices patterns.

• Skills in developing responsive interfaces and Progressive Web Applications (PWA).

• Experience in Java desktop application programming using Swing.

• Knowledge of continuous integration, Jenkins, test-driven development (TDD), acceptance test-driven development (ATDD), specification by example, refactoring, and continuous delivery.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, ECMAScript 5 and 6 or higher, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS 1.5 or higher, Angular 5 or higher, Bootstrap 3 or higher, HTML5, CSS3; ASP and .NET.

• Understanding of User Experience (UX) and usability principles.

• Experience in software testing, including unit testing, integration, system/functional, acceptance, load, performance, security/vulnerability, usability, and accessibility. Knowledge of test automation tools such as JUnit 3 or higher, Selenium WebDriver 2.4 or higher, and JMeter 2 or higher.

• Skills in building simulators such as mocks/stubs for interface simulation and virtualization.

• Proficient in Java programming for the Web using JEE 5 or higher, JSE 5 or higher, MicroProfile 3 or higher, Java 8 or higher, Apache Velocity 1.6.x or higher, and Spring 3.x or higher.

• Proficient in Java programming for the Web using JEE 6 or higher, JSE 5 or higher, JSF versions 2.x, JPA 2, and Struts 1.x.
