Java Cloud Software Engineer – Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Develop product features.

• Conduct bug fixes for the products associated with the squad.

• Participate in team progress meetings.

• Present updates on the status of tickets and assigned tasks.

• Document the developments undertaken.

• Create flow diagrams, design specifications, and documentation to elucidate the code and functionalities developed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in software development (JAVA).

• Advanced knowledge of Java.

• Experience in creating complex web applications using standard frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, DropWizard, etc.

• Understanding of data structures, OOP, computational complexity, design patterns, and concurrency.

• Intermediate Networking: Knowledge of networking and networks (VLAN, routes, firewall, etc.).

• Understanding of network protocol concepts, IP addressing, and routing.

• Basic understanding of networks from a programming perspective (interfaces, sockets, ports, etc.) and familiarity with common protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, and REST.

• Basic Linux commands.

• Proven experience with Shell scripting (Bash).

• Intermediate use and creation of container images with Docker.

• Familiarity with the "normal" flow of Git.
