Java Backend Engineer – Spring Boot, Cloud, AI, Big Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Design and create a microservices architecture utilizing Spring Boot, ensuring the system's high availability and scalability.

• Implement and oversee microservices components such as service discovery, configuration management, and load balancing using Spring Cloud.

• Analyze, process, and explore data leveraging big data technologies.

• Optimize and manage data storage and retrieval systems like ES/HBase/Starrocks to ensure effective data handling.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and deliver data solutions that align with business objectives.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance backend services to guarantee smooth operation.

• Engage in the entire development lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.

• Maintain and improve existing backend services, ensuring high code quality and performance.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into current applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Java development and over 5 years in Spring Boot development.

• Familiarity with Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, and other related technologies.

• Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture with experience in developing distributed systems.

• Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, including Jenkins and GitLab CI.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to complete tasks independently.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with cloud services like AWS and Azure is a plus.

• Proficient in utilizing components such as Apollo Configuration Center, Kafka Message Middleware, Xxl Job Scheduler, Pinpoint Link Tracking, and Prometheus Monitoring.

• Knowledge of TMS (Treasury Management System), particularly with experience in financial and global payment functionalities.
