Java Backend Developer – Mid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create REST APIs to replicate the functions of a digital bank, covering account management and customer-to-customer transfers;

• Enforce business rules related to financial transfers and the recording of account transactions;

• Design and store data in a relational database utilizing Spring Data JPA;

• Maintain transactional integrity and manage concurrency in financial operations;

• Implement notification systems to alert users upon the completion of financial transfers;

• Develop unit tests to ensure the accuracy of business rules;

• Document the API utilizing Swagger;

• Adhere to best practices in architecture, code versioning, and technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot;

• Proficient in data modeling and persistence with relational databases;

• Experienced with Spring Data JPA;

• Familiarity with transactions, data consistency, and concurrency management;

• Background in implementing business rules for financial operations;

• Skilled in unit testing methodologies;

• Knowledgeable in API documentation practices using Swagger;
