Java Architect Specialist – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical authority for development teams and enabling departments.

• Engage in vendor discussions, assessing the technical viability of suggested solutions.

• Develop and sustain technical documentation that outlines the patterns and technologies utilized within the organization.

• Facilitate connections between enabling teams and development tribes.

• Generate technical architecture diagrams and designs.

• Determine the technologies to be employed and assess new tools.

• Define domain models.

• Present architectural definitions and guide the technical team in making implementation choices.

• Adhere to best practices by utilizing architectural patterns.

• Direct teams to implement best practices for scalability, elasticity, and security.

• Coordinate responsibilities and oversee end-to-end implementation across the involved teams.

• Share knowledge through workshops, study groups, and similar initiatives.

• Evaluate implementations to uncover potential technical debt.

• Collaborate in defining solution and business architecture alongside other business architects, product owners, and stakeholders.

• Support teams in troubleshooting and resolving production challenges.

• Develop solutions that incorporate Artificial Intelligence into business applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in software architecture.

• Proficient knowledge of the Java programming language.

• Familiarity with BPM tools.

• In-depth knowledge of the Spring framework.

• Experience in developing distributed systems.

• Background in developing microservices.

• Understanding of REST APIs.

• Experience with batch system development (Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Dataflow).

• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Proficient in code versioning using Git.

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).

• Knowledge of observability tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).

• Experience in developing systems utilizing messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Previous experience in Financial Institutions is preferred.
