This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.
• Design, sustain, and continually enhance IT/OT (Information Technology / Operational Technology) data pipelines that connect manufacturing systems with enterprise platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to manufacturing data, automation, and system integration, applying sound engineering and data principles.
• Create, maintain, and adjust automated workflows, scripts, data transformations, and interfaces that support manufacturing operations.
• Integrate and improve data from process historians, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and PLC/OT data sources.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Process Control, Quality, and Digital teams to facilitate data-driven plant performance.
• Assist in global and site-level digital and data initiatives, including prioritizing and executing tasks.
• Advocate for best practices in data modeling, automation, documentation, and scalable solution design.
• Offer technical advice to plant and business stakeholders to aid EH&S, production, cost, quality, energy, reliability, and sustainability objectives.
• Contribute to data governance, standardization, and ongoing improvement across manufacturing sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related technical field.
• Several years of experience in manufacturing, industrial data, automation, or engineering settings.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing systems, data architectures, and IT/OT integration concepts.
• Practical experience with data automation, scripting, and analytics technologies (e.g., Python, SQL, ETL tools, data platforms).
• Capability to manage multiple tasks or projects and drive solutions to completion within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and digital teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data reliability and quality.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
