IT Teaching Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist and evaluate assignments for a cohort of 30-40 students in an 11-week online course.

• Serve as a mentor and coach, guiding students as they acquire new skills and grow professionally.

• Participate in lectures throughout the 11-week online course.

• Facilitate discussion sections to reinforce essential concepts.

• Conduct weekly office hours to enhance student comprehension and foster community.

• Maintain regular communication with students and respond to inquiries promptly.

• Encourage students to remain motivated and establish strong academic habits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or training within technical subjects.

• Familiarity with online education tools and platforms.

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree or engaged in a technical/business position (preferred).

• Background in IT support, cybersecurity, systems, or software (preferred).

• Prior experience in online teaching or facilitation (preferred).

• Willingness to serve as a teaching assistant for future quarters and/or multiple sections (preferred).
