This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Deliver first-level technical assistance to end-users concerning hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Forward complex or unresolved matters to Tier 2 support or other appropriate teams.
• Oversee and support Microsoft Intune for device management, security protocols, and application distribution.
• Manage and provide support for Exchange Online, which includes user administration and troubleshooting.
• Conduct and manage basic Virtual Machine tasks within VMware ESXi virtualized settings.
• Create and sustain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting purposes.
• Record IT procedures and engage in ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Acquire, configure, and deploy new IT hardware and software, ensuring setups meet organizational standards and security requirements.
• Over 5 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a similar position.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, VMware ESXi, and Windows Server environments.
• Basic to moderate understanding of networking concepts.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Service-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Azure AD / Entra ID.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based IT Service Management practices.
• Relevant certifications from Microsoft, VMware, or IT-related fields.
• Skills in programming languages.
