IT Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain laboratory IT systems.

• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of laboratory operations.

• Oversee data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for electronic records and signatures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Telematics Engineering.

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic network troubleshooting skills.

• Proficient in IT security practices, including firewalls, encryption, and adherence to HIPAA or GDPR regulations.

• Capability to manage cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing.

• Experience in scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate IT tasks and workflows.

• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery systems to maintain data integrity.

• Familiarity with industry standards: FDA, GDPR, HIPAA.

• Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, Cisco CCNP Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Proficient in advanced English.
