Financial Analyst, Engineering Services Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Provide daily financial assistance to the finance director and operational staff of both organizations.

• Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual 5-year business plan.

• Aid in the preparation and consolidation of cost center budgets and SAP labor rates.

• Generate operational reports to facilitate the review and analysis of cost center expenditures, IPC spending, resource utilization, unaccounted time, and composite rates.

• Support monthly closing processes, forecasting, and reporting requirements for both organizations. This includes preparing journal entries, analyzing financial results, examining variances and business trends, preparing forecast submissions, and delivering reports to senior management to aid in the monthly review of financial performance.

• Communicate any identified year-end risks and opportunities related to the business plan and financial forecast.

• Assist the lead analyst in preparing consolidated capital budget documentation.

• Oversee actual capital expenditures, including the submission of asset e-orders and capitalization requests, as well as annual physical verifications and quarterly impairment analyses.

• Collaborate with HR to ensure the accuracy of employee cost center attributes.

• Provide direct support to finance and operational leadership across both organizations with ad-hoc projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Accounting or Finance.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar accounting position.

• Proven analytical skills related to Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
