• Develop and implement AI-driven tools, workflows, and internal automations that enhance productivity and minimize repetitive tasks throughout the organization.
• Integrate AI agents, tools, and automations with enterprise systems such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Jira, and other applications, ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Construct, maintain, and enhance MCP connections and supporting infrastructure, establishing standards for configuration, reliability, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Recognize manual or disjointed workflows and create robust automation solutions using Python, Go, or no-code tools.
• Collaborate in weekly AI enablement sessions and assist in transforming identified use cases into scalable, supportable workflows or tools.
• Work in close partnership with Security to implement secure patterns for authentication, authorization, token management, data protection, and production readiness for AI-enabled workflows.
• Utilize Terraform, cloud infrastructure, and version-controlled delivery methodologies to manage systems that facilitate internal AI empowerment.
• Produce clear documentation, reusable patterns, and technical guidance to enable teams to adopt AI responsibly and effectively.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Engineering, and business teams to prioritize initiatives, gather feedback, and continuously refine solutions.
• Balance quick wins with long-term maintainability, leveraging feedback and operational data to enhance quality, adoption, and scalability.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in IT engineering, systems engineering, platform engineering, automation, DevOps, or a closely related position.
• Extensive experience in designing and delivering internal tools, automations, or platform capabilities from concept to production.
• Strong grasp of AI-enabled workflows, prompt-driven systems, agent patterns, and practical business applications of contemporary AI tools.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems, knowledge bases, and APIs into effective internal workflows or automations.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining API-driven services, scripts, and automations utilizing Python, JavaScript, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Git, and contemporary software delivery practices.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as GCP or AWS.
• Understanding of identity and access patterns such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, or equivalent enterprise authentication mechanisms.
