
IT Specialist, Technical Customer Support – Digital Locking Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Provide technical customer support: Address inquiries regarding digital locking systems (such as electronic locks, relays, fittings), configure systems through phone or remote access, and diagnose as well as resolve both hardware and software issues.
• Analyze systems and troubleshoot: Evaluate technical issues that arise from the interaction of IT components and locking technology, and assist in integrating these solutions into existing IT and building management systems.
• Support software operations: Manage and support management software for digital locking systems, including conducting updates and maintenance tasks.
• Customer consulting and training: Offer guidance on technical options and aid users and administrators in utilizing digital locking technology effectively.
• Maintain documentation: Develop and upkeep technical documentation and support tickets, while providing feedback to development teams regarding recurring issues.
• Collaborate across departments: Work in close partnership with sales, development, and product management teams to incorporate customer feedback and assist in testing phases for new products.
• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a similar technical qualification.
• Initial experience in technical support or customer service/hotline settings.
• Proficient use of standard IT systems and documentation tools; MCSA certification is an advantage.
• Excellent proficiency in German and English for effective international communication.
• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Exceptional communication abilities and a passion for customer interaction.
