IT Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Deliver daily technical assistance to staff members

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems

• Set up, configure, and uphold computers, systems, and software applications

• Monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation

• Aid in the management of user accounts, access levels, and permissions

• Support system updates, perform backups, and conduct basic security maintenance

• Address IT support inquiries promptly

• Keep thorough documentation of IT processes and assets

• Refer complex issues to senior IT personnel or vendors when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

• Fundamental understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques

• Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS operating systems

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
