IT Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Provide daily assistance for helpdesk inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution and high levels of user satisfaction.

• Enhance integration and efficiency among IT tools and systems.

• Actively offer insights to improve the overall IT and security posture of the team.

• Showcase leadership potential and a dedication to ongoing professional development.

• Deliver advanced helpdesk support – Resolve daily IT challenges effectively, guaranteeing minimal disruption and an excellent user experience.

• Improve system and tool integration – Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and enhance interoperability between applications.

• Fortify IT security and compliance – Support ISO 27001 controls, monitor for vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security policies.

• Contribute to ongoing improvement – Proactively suggest and implement solutions that boost system reliability, efficiency, and governance.

• Assist IT leadership – Support the IT Compliance & Governance Manager in strategic initiatives and serve as a point of escalation or deputy when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must-Have (The fundamentals)

• - Mastery: Demonstrated IT troubleshooting capabilities, adept at resolving a diverse range of hardware, software, and network issues, familiar with ticketing tools and platforms such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Atlassian, or similar enterprise tools.

• - Communication: Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English, capable of collaborating with multiple teams and clearly articulating technical concepts.

• - Leadership: Eagerness to take initiative and support team members as required.

• - Impact: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute positively to team objectives.

• Nice to Have (If you don’t have it now, you will after joining)

• · Mastery: Capacity to lead small IT or compliance projects from planning through execution, capability to automate repetitive IT tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.

• · Communication: Clear and structured communicator in both written and verbal English.

• · Leadership: Proven leadership potential through extracurricular activities or past roles.

• · Impact: Familiarity with industry standards or regulations pertinent to IT compliance and governance.
