This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal IT support inquiries from employees.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems in a prompt and professional manner.
• Oversee and streamline IT ticketing and support processes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Assist in the administration and upkeep of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including user provisioning, licensing, security policies, and Entra ID.
• Provide support for both on-premises and cloud-based systems, including patch management, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Aid in the management and maintenance of network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint management initiatives.
• Assist in the development of a modern data stack, encompassing data pipelines and a centralized data warehouse.
• Contribute to the administration and maintenance of Metabase and Grafana for internal reporting and dashboards.
• Help design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to consolidate data from various business applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create and sustain dashboards and reports that facilitate decision-making.
• Participate in the assessment and implementation of data tools (e.g., data warehouse platforms, transformation layers such as dbt).
• Keep clear and current documentation of systems, configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Assist in producing run-books and internal knowledge base articles.
• Identify deficiencies in current IT processes and recommend enhancements.
• Work closely with the IT Administrator to gain insights into all facets of the IT environment.
• Gradually develop the skills and knowledge needed to independently manage IT operations and provide backup coverage.
• Collaborate across departments to understand their technological requirements.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities in Windows environments, networking, and end-user hardware/software issues.
• Comfortable functioning in a small team with considerable autonomy and a wide range of responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly to non-technical peers.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining accurate and updated documentation.
• Collaborative and team-focused, with a genuine service-oriented mindset toward internal employees.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID / Azure AD) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP (VMs, storage, networking) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Metabase or Grafana for reporting and dashboards is a plus.
• Exposure to data pipelines, ETL/ELT concepts, or a modern data stack (e.g., data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery, transformation tools like dbt) is a plus.
• Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar) is a plus.
• Background with no-code or low-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier, Make, Airtable) or app development (internal tools, web apps, or integrations) is a plus.
• Any relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, CompTIA A+/Network+, Azure/AWS/GCP fundamentals) are a plus.
