This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborates effectively with peer groups to provide support for a designated area or function.
• Gathers requirements and crafts design documentation, including use cases, based on user feedback.
• Develops workflows and business processes, carries out application configuration/development, and formulates testing strategies.
• Engages as part of a team in the planning and execution of new systems or functions, ensuring the delivery of quality application maintenance and upgrades.
• Completes designated application configuration or development tasks, and may lead teams in the execution and testing of their assigned deliverables.
• Offers, and may lead, business analysis and support services for both non-production and production environments, encompassing requirements analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Responds to end-user support requests, including troubleshooting, break/fix support, research, and problem resolution, serving as an escalation point for user inquiries.
• Preserves technical data integrity by creating and executing queries, reports, and/or SQL, analyzing data, and identifying system enhancements.
• Participates in, and may take the lead on, regular team retrospective events with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Associate's degree in a relevant field and 1 year of applicable experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in the higher education sector, medical, technical, or healthcare environments is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to develop creative solutions to challenges are required.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational and follow-up abilities, with the capacity to prioritize work independently are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft software, particularly Office collaboration tools, is required.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile, from planning through implementation is required.
• Availability for after-hours on-call support is required.
• Understanding of Meaningful Use (ARRA), as well as HIPAA, JCAHO, and other regulations is preferred.
