This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Creating and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Lead and supervise project engineers within the project team, serving as a people manager by offering coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Take ownership of departmental success—recognize profitability metrics, resource allocation, and the impact of projects on overall MSP growth.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding project-related communications, providing timely updates and addressing issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise technical resources to ensure tasks are completed according to the project plan.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate, including project plans, schedules, budgets, change orders, and closure documents.
• Proactively identify, monitor, and address potential risks.
• Manage changes to the project scope by implementing a formal change control process to prevent scope creep and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee project development from inception to completion, ensuring that projects achieve their intended outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Facilitate meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders to communicate project status and address any issues or obstacles.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and clear communication among staff, clients, and vendors.
• Assess and provide feedback on non-technical project hour estimates.
• Conduct evaluations post-project completion to foster continuous improvement and share insights gained with the team.
• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of project management experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment (required).
• Proven experience working directly with clients, vendors, and internal technical teams in a fast-paced service environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple IT projects concurrently, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• PMP certification preferred (or other relevant project management credentials).
• 🛠️ Strong understanding of IT principles, infrastructure, and managed services, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• Practical experience with PSA and project management tools such as ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices.

• Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying risks early and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

• 💰 Salary Range: $90,000–$110,000/year.
• 🎯 Quarterly bonus eligibility: Earn up to 4% each quarter by meeting departmental KPIs and Metrics.
