IT Project Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Independently oversees small to medium-sized IT projects.

• Collects input from team members regarding necessary tasks and converts this information into a comprehensive project plan that includes tasks, activities, dependencies, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverables.

• Tracks the progress of project activities and ensures that all essential implementation criteria are fulfilled.

• Collaborates with Architects, Team Leads, Resource Managers, IT Leaders, and Sponsors as necessary to guarantee that the project team adheres to departmental processes for quality assurance, migrations and promotions, end-user acceptance/validation, as well as training and support.

• Conducts project meetings utilizing effective techniques for setting objectives, creating agendas, selecting participants, and documenting meeting minutes.

• Creates and maintains reporting dashboards that are suitable for Senior Leadership to effectively communicate project status.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree along with 4 years of relevant experience is required.

• Experience in the healthcare or higher education sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with Service Now, Jira, Smartsheet, Clarity PPM, or Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software is preferred.

• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI within one year is required.
