IT Program Manager – Enterprise Cloud Platform Technology Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the planning, direction, and oversight of all technical and program-related activities that provide secure, reliable, and scalable cloud infrastructure services for a major federal civilian agency.

• Spearhead the design and implementation of cloud architectures, networking, security, and strategies for cost optimization.

• Direct operational teams across multiple clouds in environments that demand high availability and are mission-critical.

• Provide leadership and guidance to implement and manage services necessitating federal cybersecurity frameworks, including FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST SP 800 53, and Zero Trust.

• Oversee complex technical programs and initiatives that involve competing priorities and changing requirements.

• Act as the responsible leader for a large-scale cloud platform enterprise, ensuring consistent communication, effective stakeholder management, and executive briefings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 16 years of experience, including management experience is essential.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.

• At least fifteen (15) years of pertinent experience managing large-scale federal IT or cloud infrastructure programs.

• Strong knowledge of cloud architectures, networking, security, and strategies for cost optimization.

• Proven capability to lead multi-cloud operations in environments that are high availability and mission-critical.

• Extensive familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST SP 800 53, and Zero Trust.

• Experience in implementing ITIL, Agile, and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and executive briefing abilities.

• Capacity to manage multifaceted technical programs with conflicting priorities and evolving needs.

• Demonstrated success in leading diverse technical teams and subcontractors.

• U.S. Citizenship is required; must possess the capability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
