• Develop and oversee dashboards that monitor the availability and performance of platforms and services.
• Provide support and maintenance for services operating within a cloud-based Kubernetes environment on AWS GovCloud, which includes ITSM systems and GitOps tools like GitLab and GitHub.
• Administer user onboarding and offboarding processes, managing accounts and access controls across platform services, while ensuring precise documentation and prompt resolution of support requests.
• Utilize Bash and various scripting languages to automate operational tasks and enhance help desk workflows, aligning with compliance and mission requirements.
• Work collaboratively with platform, security, and application teams to diagnose issues, uphold service uptime, and ensure cohesive operation.
• Assume operational responsibility for infrastructure services managed by your team, guaranteeing reliability and responsive assistance.
• Enhance the stability and scalability of mission-critical systems by implementing well-documented, auditable, and compliant operational practices.
• Take proactive steps to improve platform support operations and foster positive user experiences through consistent service excellence.
• Advocate for AI-enhanced work methodologies across your engagements, utilizing AI tools to expedite delivery, minimize cycle times, and achieve superior outcomes at scale.
• Possession of an active US DoD Secret clearance is mandatory.
• Current Sec+ certification is required.
• A professional background of 3 to 6 years in IT operations, system administration, or service desk support roles is essential.
• A strong customer service orientation and a dedication to continuous improvement are necessary.
• Demonstrated capability in managing user lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning.
• Experience with ITSM tools like Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Remedy for ticket, incident, workflow, and service request management is required.
• Familiarity with administration of tools such as MatterMost and Slack is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills, with the ability to assist both technical and non-technical users comfortably.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Grafana is needed.
• Background in managing cloud-hosted services such as Keycloak, GitLab, and Red Hat Identity Management (FreeIPA) is required.
• Proficient in Linux systems (preferably Red Hat) and Bash scripting for administrative and automation tasks.
• Knowledge of AWS GovCloud, Azure, or GCP operations and service account administration is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls is expected.
