IT Operations – Security Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily IT operations for a remote, globally distributed team.

• Manage the complete onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Keep track of asset inventory, ensure software license compliance, and maintain vendor relationships.

• Detect repetitive IT workflows and implement automation solutions.

• Uphold Transcenda’s SOC 2 Type II program.

• Ensure that IT security baselines are kept up to date.

• Address client security reviews, questionnaires, and due diligence inquiries.

• Clearly communicate any changes in IT and security posture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations or IT security.

• At least 2 years of experience leading an IT support team.

• Practical experience managing IT for a remote workforce.

• Proficient in Google Workspace administration, SSO, VPN, and endpoint protection.

• Experience with Mac fleet management using MDM tools (Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle, or similar).

• Proven experience managing onboarding/offboarding, access management, and asset/licensing processes.

• Involvement in SOC 2 Type II maintenance, including evidence collection, control management, and preparation for annual audits.

• Proficient in English and comfortable responding to client security questionnaires.
