This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve incoming IT service desk tickets in Jira concerning hardware, software, or user access challenges.

• Assist in diagnosing and fixing end-user device problems, including both macOS and Windows platforms.

• Support the setup, imaging, and distribution of laptops and peripherals for both new and current employees.

• Help provision accounts, configure systems for new hires, and facilitate access removal and equipment collection for departing staff.

• Maintain precise records of IT assets, ensuring they are properly tagged, documented, and periodically audited.

• Contribute to and enhance internal documentation regarding troubleshooting procedures, FAQs, and process workflows.

• Aid the IT Operations team with ongoing projects related to system enhancements, automation, or infrastructure upgrades.

• Engage in various tasks and projects that align with the IT Operations team’s objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree or technical program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Familiar with macOS and Windows operating systems.

• Basic knowledge of networking, device configuration, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Exposure to cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace.

• Willingness to learn about IT ticketing systems, MDM platforms, and automation tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and organizational capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic about learning in a dynamic environment.

• Previous experience providing IT support (academic, internship, or volunteer) is preferred.

• Basic understanding of IT security concepts and best practices is preferred.

• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems is preferred.

• Interest in pursuing certifications such as CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, or JAMF 100 is preferred.
