IT Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of Jira and Confluence in customer environments (Data Center & Cloud).

• Perform updates and patch cycles on Linux servers (Ubuntu/Debian) and monitor AWS/EKS environments.

• Utilize Bash and Python scripting for automating recurring processes such as backups and user provisioning.

• Maintain technical documentation and the knowledge base to ensure retention of team knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in complex Atlassian environments, with proven experience in migrations (DC to Cloud).

• A solid understanding of the on-premise world (infrastructure/IDPs) as well as contemporary cloud architectures.

• Proficient in German at a business fluent level (C1/native) to effectively comprehend customer issues in detail.

• Strong English language skills (B2+) to manage vendor tickets and documentation.

• Preferred: Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications or experience in the automotive sector (OEM/suppliers).
