This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Device & Endpoint Management: Acquire, provision, and oversee company laptops and hardware for a distributed team.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Develop and implement efficient, secure onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure new employees are productive from day one and departing staff are fully deprovisioned.
• Security & Compliance: Collaborate with leadership to uphold and enhance our security posture, support SOC 2 readiness and audits, respond to customer security inquiries, and enforce sensible policies suitable for a remote-first organization.
• Gather current audit evidence and take ownership of SOC 2 IT controls.
• SaaS Administration: Oversee the daily management of our essential stack (Google Workspace, Slack, and other critical business SaaS tools), including license management, configuration, and cost optimization.
• Identity & Access Management: Administer SSO, multi-factor authentication, and least-privilege access controls.
• Handle access provisioning requests and conduct periodic access reviews.
• Help Desk & Support: Act as the first point of IT support for the team, swiftly and clearly resolving technical and access-related issues.
• Vendor & Asset Management: Manage IT vendors and renewals, carry out vendor security assessments and risk evaluations, and keep documentation current.
• Process & Automation: Document IT processes and automate repetitive tasks to ensure systems can scale faster than headcount.
• 4+ years of experience in IT administration, IT management, or a related role, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment.
• Practical experience managing Google Workspace, Slack, MDM solutions, and SSO/identity providers (e.g., Okta, Google, or comparable).
• Experience overseeing fleets of macOS devices in a remote-first setting.
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, SOC 1, ISO 27001, or similar) and experience assisting with audits or security questionnaires.
• Strong documentation skills and a preference for automating repetitive tasks.
• Experience with scripting or IT automation tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with compliance automation platforms (e.g., Drata, Vanta) is beneficial.
