This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Implement and uphold the IT roadmap and operational plan developed in collaboration with the VP of IT and Security, ensuring it aligns with Esusu’s business, security, and compliance goals.
• Manage systems integrations and the configuration of all applications, providing support for all operational IT tasks across various teams.
• Develop and lead a high-performing IT operations team, which includes IT Operations Specialists (e.g., Abegail) and external partners (e.g., Digiss).
• Establish and monitor IT KPIs (service levels, asset coverage, incident volume, time-to-resolution, etc.).
• Act as the operational IT point of contact for senior leadership, People & Culture, Finance, and department heads, with the VP of IT and Security serving as the main executive point of contact for Esusu.
• Manage end-user computing, encompassing device lifecycle (procurement, imaging, deployment, inventory, recovery), MDM/EDR configuration, and standard baselines.
• Supervise service desk processes (incident, request, problem, change), ensuring timely and high-quality support for a global, remote workforce.
• Administer and standardize core SaaS platforms (e.g., Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Zoom, HRIS, financial systems), collaborating with system owners on access and configuration.
• Maintain and continuously enhance IT runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base content.
• Collaborate with the VP of IT & Security and Information Security to operationalize security controls within IT (MDM, DLP, endpoint hardening, vulnerability remediation, least privilege, etc.).
• Ensure IT processes comply with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other regulatory/compliance requirements, including generating evidence and executing controls.
• Lead or assist in access management processes: provisioning/deprovisioning, role-based access definitions, periodic access reviews, and break-glass access procedures.
• Guarantee IT alignment with BCP/DR plans and provide support during incidents (e.g., device loss, outages, workspace disruptions).
• Oversee daily IT relationships with Digiss and other IT vendors (hardware, MDM, EDR, collaboration tools, MSPs, etc.).
• Define and track SLAs and escalation paths for IT vendors; lead quarterly business reviews as necessary.
• Implement and uphold IT governance practices: change management, configuration management, asset management, and standard builds.
• Assist in risk assessments and remediation plans for IT systems, including tracking and promoting the closure of findings from internal/external audits and penetration tests.
• Own or co-own IT-related policies and standards (e.g., Device, Access Management, Acceptable Use, Collaboration Tools), in partnership with Information Security and Risk.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in IT operations and/or infrastructure within a high-growth, cloud-native environment.
• More than 3 years of leadership experience managing IT teams and/or MSPs.
• Proven ownership of IT service delivery for a distributed or remote-first workforce.
• Practical experience with modern SaaS-first IT stacks, including:
• Identity & SSO
• Collaboration
• Endpoint management: MDM, EDR, patching tools
• Ticketing/ITSM systems
• Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST-aligned controls) and their interaction with IT processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendors/MSPs, negotiate SLAs, and hold partners accountable.
• Exceptional communication skills; capable of translating technical constraints into clear options and trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders.
