IT Leader, Head of Agency Management Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Provide consistent and clear program updates to the Senior Business and IT Leadership Team and the Board as needed.

• Oversee third-party suppliers, vendors, and project implementation teams, ensuring that contractual obligations are fulfilled and delivery milestones are met.

• Experience in Large Systems Implementation – specifically in project implementation as an architect or technical lead within insurance or financial systems.

• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, RAID logs, and governance documentation throughout the lifecycle of the program.

• Exhibit knowledge of enterprise reference data such as customer, account, security, etc.

• Proven experience in Straight-Through Processing (STP), preferably within the Insurance sector.

• Solid understanding of end-to-end insurance broking processes, covering policy lifecycle, client management, renewals, endorsements, and compliance requirements.

• Analyze current-state insurance broking processes in relation to ConceptOne capabilities, identifying gaps, dependencies, and areas for enhancement.

• Direct end-to-end migration activities for the ConceptOne platform, including the decommissioning of legacy systems, data mapping, parallel-run management, and cutover planning.

• Data Modeling experience, particularly in logical data modeling and detailed modeling of inter-application data flows to the element level.

• Familiarity with centralized reference data sources.

• Collaborate closely with technology and business teams to implement ConceptOne projects.

• Offer analysis and documentation expertise and guidance to projects in partnership with Jencap business leaders.

• Develop, analyze, document, and review business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

• Create customer-centric documentation for software solutions (e.g., Wireframes, Use Cases, business rules, etc.).

• Configure the C1 platform to establish new workflows, business reference data, User Defined Tables, and User Defined Fields/Forms.

• Coordinate implementation and communication efforts with vendors and various business groups.

• Conduct and manage the estimation of work.

• Engage in system design and configuration activities.

• Mentor team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience with Concept One.

• More than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry.

• Knowledge or experience in Database design and Object-oriented concepts.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering and analysis, and all phases of the project life cycle (requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, training, and measuring effectiveness).

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
