This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee and provide support for essential IT systems, such as Google Workspace and device management (JAMF).
• Facilitate IT onboarding and offboarding activities, which entail hardware provisioning, computer configurations, and access management for our expanding global team.
• Assist with tools including VPNs, password management systems, and endpoint security; ensure employee devices are updated, compliant, and operational.
• Act as the main contact for daily IT inquiries, troubleshooting and resolving tickets for colleagues through Slack, email, and video calls.
• Maintain precise records of hardware and software inventories and aid in managing our collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, GitHub, Asana).
• Keep internal systems documentation and knowledge base articles current for both the IT team and end-users.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in IT operations, helpdesk, or technical support within a fast-paced environment (experience in startups or high-growth companies is advantageous).
• Strong expertise in supporting macOS systems, basic network troubleshooting, and hardware assistance.
• Practical experience in Google Workspace administration and understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; capable of articulating technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders with empathy and understanding.
• A proactive individual who can effectively prioritize a daily ticket queue, handle a varied workload, and recognize when to escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel.
• Preferred tools & skills: System Administration: Experience supporting users with JAMF, BetterCloud, 1Password, and GitHub.
• Collaboration & Productivity: Proficiency in supporting enterprise environments for Slack, Asana, Chrome, and Microsoft Office.
• HRIS: Familiarity with HRIS automation tools such as Rippling for user lifecycle management.
