IT Governance Processes Analyst – MID

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in data governance projects, aiding in the structuring, development, and upkeep of practices and processes related to data management;

• Assist in advancing data governance maturity, in accordance with the DAMA-DMBOK framework disciplines;

• Collaborate with Data Teams, facilitating efforts centered around data quality, governance, and data organization;

• Aid in the establishment, review, and standardization of processes, artifacts, and best practices for data governance;

• Contribute to activities associated with managing technical and business metadata, data quality, master data, and data lineage;

• Utilize platforms such as Informatica Axon, EDC, IDQ, Microsoft Purview and Fabric, SAP PowerDesigner, and Databricks to assist governance initiatives;

• Execute data modeling tasks, including dimensional modeling using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema;

• Support the cataloging, documentation, and evaluation of data to enhance traceability, reliability, and value creation for business sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of data governance and the principles of the DAMA-DMBOK framework;

• Experience with Informatica Axon, EDC, and IDQ platforms;

• Familiarity with Microsoft solutions such as Purview and Fabric;

• Knowledge of data modeling tools like SAP PowerDesigner;

• Strong expertise in data modeling, particularly dimensional modeling;

• Proficiency in concepts related to Star Schema and Snowflake Schema;

• Capability to engage in technical and functional discussions regarding technical metadata, business metadata, data quality, lineage, data organization, and standardization.
