Fire Risk Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform fire risk assessments in line with current legislation, standards, and best practice guidelines.

• Recognize and communicate fire safety risks, offering clear recommendations and escalating high-risk issues as necessary.

• Create, review, and ensure the quality of comprehensive fire risk assessment reports.

• Engage with clients in a professional manner, providing technical advice and support throughout the assessment procedure.

• Keep precise records and guarantee that all assessment data is accurately uploaded to SGS digital systems.

• Travel to client locations as required, supporting business needs through occasional out-of-hours or weekend work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Safety (Level 4 is preferred).

• At least 12 months of experience in conducting fire risk assessments (5+ years is highly desirable).

• Full UK driving license and a willingness to travel extensively as part of the role.

• Experience in performing fire risk assessments in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

• Capability to interpret and apply fire safety legislation and guidance, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

• Proficient in producing high-quality technical reports and conveying findings to clients.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple site visits and assessment schedules.

• Skilled in using digital devices and reporting platforms to record and manage assessment data.
