• Understanding of ITIL/ITSM principles, including incident management, change management, problem resolution, releases, SLAs, service catalog, and ongoing improvement.
• Awareness of IT Governance frameworks like COBIT and compliance/control procedures.
• Knowledge of regulations affecting banks and regulated financial sectors.
• Prior experience with processes, standardization, governance, and continuous enhancement.
• Proficient with advanced Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Jira, Power BI/Looker Studio, or similar tools.
• Comprehension of operational risks, auditing processes, internal controls, vulnerabilities, and remediation strategies.
• Preferred experience in financial institutions, technology firms, payment systems, fintechs, banks, insurance companies, or other regulated settings.
• Ability to structure and organize processes, develop methodologies, and convert disparate information into executive-level insights.
• Strong capability to influence without formal authority, align various stakeholders, connect teams, and ensure governance over deliverables.
• Excellent executive communication skills, capable of synthesizing issues and creating clear materials for leadership.
• Analytical mindset to interpret variances, trends, risks, and impacts, extending beyond simple status reports.
• Relational maturity to collaborate with technical teams, product management, finance, GRC, security, leadership, and vendors.
• Consultative mindset, assisting teams without imposing unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Diplomatic follow-up abilities, tracking deadlines, unresolved issues, and action plans while maintaining positive relationships.
• Systemic perspective to connect budget, capacity, execution, risks, metrics, and decision-making.
