IT Epic System Analyst – Cadence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Evaluate user requirements, processes, and challenges to automate clinical functions and enhance information technology systems.

• Create and sustain electronic medical records, ancillary applications, and interconnected systems to fulfill user and regulatory requirements.

• Design and construct within the designated Epic Cadence application/system for providers, staff, and patients.

• Develop tools that support healthcare delivery while ensuring security and operational efficiency.

• Design, build, and implement application upgrades and new installations.

• Diagnose application issues and identify solutions.

• Execute necessary maintenance tasks for assigned applications.

• Review and test newly released software updates.

• Maintain documentation that reflects the current state and configurations of the system.

• Prepare programming and integration specifications.

• Adhere to project deadlines and communicate progress and risks to leadership and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor's degree.

• Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience instead of a Bachelor's degree.

• 4 years of experience with a High School Diploma.

• 2 years of experience with an Associate's Degree.

• Technical skills and appropriate pre-employment screening.

• Epic application certification is required following initial onboarding and must be maintained as per Epic requirements (CEE).

• Relevant experience in healthcare, teaching, or adult learning/training is preferred.

• Prior experience in Epic training is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities.

• Previous implementation experience is advantageous.

• Proof of citizenship or immigration status and the legal right to work in the United States is mandatory.
