IT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Deliver daily assistance via the IT helpdesk.

• Oversee access to SaaS platforms, including routine reconciliation.

• Establish and manage email accounts, groups, and calendars (Microsoft 365, Active Directory).

• Install, configure, and upgrade software for self-hosted applications.

• Conduct server maintenance, patching, and upgrades.

• Monitor servers and services, addressing or escalating incidents as necessary.

• Diagnose outages and prepare Reason for Outage (RFO) documentation when required.

• Assist with the IT processes for employee onboarding and offboarding.

• Collaborate with the broader IT and Security teams to document and enhance internal workflows.

• Contribute to enhancing overall IT security practices and policies.

• Support hardware setup, maintenance, and asset lifecycle management.

• Plan and distribute IT assets to employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience in Linux administration, including RHEL/CentOS and Debian/Ubuntu.

• Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, etc.).

• Proficient in Windows and macOS systems.

• Experience managing Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory.

• Good knowledge of IT hardware and system upkeep.

• Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.

• Capable of troubleshooting independently and working collaboratively within a team.

• Nice to Have: Experience in an IT helpdesk or customer support setting.

• Familiarity with virtualization platforms.

• Experience with technologies such as: Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Zabbix, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
